Part of the Centre for Autonomous and Cyber-Physical Systems, our research group facilitates research and develop the technology behind autonomous vehicles including airborne, ground, marine and future rail applications.

We live in an autonomy revolution era with increasing rate of technology developments - both in AI and autonomous systems. Autonomous systems platforms play a vital role enabling many autonomous system related applications (advanced mobility, smart cities, navigation, surveillance, reconnaissance and others). This is the area our research group strongly contributes to. We facilitate research and develop the technology behind autonomous vehicles including airborne, ground, marine and future rail applications.

Our expertise include advanced dynamic modelling and controls, systems resilience and application of AI technologies to aerospace (UAV), ground (UGV), and future railway concepts. We are closely collaborating with the other research groups within the Centre for Autonomous and Cyber-Physical Systems (CACPS) on projects underpinning novel autonomous vehicle concepts, future air/ground mobility, smart cities mobility and space. The Autonomous Systems Dynamics & Control Research group is an integral part of the Autonomy&AI thematic area within CACPS at ¹û½´ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø.
